2009 Snipe World Championship -- Teams from around the World bask in San Diego's warm light air but the Class motto, 'Serious Sailing, Serious Fun' gives context to the intensity of the competition on the water and the camaraderie on shore. This regatta video has been nominated for a Sports Emmy - NATAS-PSW A 30 min. documentary is in post that will feature the Snipe Class as it turns 80 years old in 2010. The Class is struggling with bringing younger sailors into the Snipe Family and passing on the traditions that have kept the Class strong and vibrant during its long history.
