Storyline
21 Jump Street is the headquarters for a squad of police officers who specialize in investigations relating to young people. Each of the Jump St. personnel was selected for their ability to pass for high school or college students, allowing them to operate undercover in areas where it is difficult for regular police officers to blend in unnoticed. As Johnny Depp became increasingly frustrated with the series, he began to put forth ridiculous suggestions for his character to the producers. One such a suggestion included the discovery by the other characters that Tom Hanson was obsessed with peanut butter, and would be discovered by the other characters smearing it all over his naked body.
